Read the question on the board. 2. Tap the apple with the right word. 3. There is no timer, so take your time. 4. Five right apples grow the next level of your orchard. ## What your child learns Among vocabulary games KS2 children can play, it is the gentlest: a word meaning game and an opposites game for KS2 with no timer. These are the KS2 skills it practises. - Word meanings - Synonyms - Opposites (antonyms) - Spelling - Choosing words for a sentence Real examples from the game: Find a word like "believe"**trust** Find the opposite of "build"**destroy** Which word means "to leave something behind for good"?**abandon** The judge called the crime \_\_\_\_ and unforgivable.**abhorrent** ## Levels and difficulty Each level is five apples, and the level is saved. The first four levels bring in one question type each, then all five mix. Words climb through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond tiers, from a bank of 403 words.
