Pip is getting a proper wardrobe. The drop is planned to bring 100 new items for children to dress Pip in, from a Times Table Gauntlet with a glowing grid on the knuckles to a thundercloud hat that only rains on bad guesses.
What is in the drop?
There are 100 items across eight slots: head, face, neck, body, back, hand, feet and companions. They come in 17 sets, including Learning, Space, Deep Sea, Samurai, Esports, Mythic and Weather, and four rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary.
Some are pure style, like the Drip Bucket and the Pixel Crown. Some are a nod to what children practise in Pip, like the Protractor Shield, the Pencil Crown and the Pi Chain. All of them are designed to look good on Pip at any size, from a phone to a big tablet screen.
The drop sits alongside Pip’s Learning Grove, and the best of it is earned through real 11+ practice, not just coins.
How to get them
Three ways in, planned for the drop:
- Buy with coins
Spend the coins you earn in Pip on the looks you want. Your fit, your call.
- Unlock by learning
Some gear unlocks as you play. Master 10 skills, for example, and a free gift lands in Pip’s Den.
- Rare drops you can’t buy
No coins will get these. Fill Pip’s bars with real work and a power-up could pop with a surprise drop.
In the preview above, cards marked Rare drop can’t be bought.
The wardrobe drop is planned for a future Pip update. We are not promising a date. When it is ready, it will arrive as a normal app update on the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
